Kathi Keville, an internationally known herbalist and aromatherapist, has lectured and conducted seminars in North America and Europe for over 40 years. Her Green Medicine Herb School year-round program offers medicine-making, wild herb walks, herb garden tours, aromatherapy seminars, and an herbal/aromatherapy apprenticeship.
Kathi managed a commercial herb garden for 15 years and now cultivates 500 species at her Oak Valley Herb Farm in Northern California’s Sierra foothills. She founded a wholesale herbal and aromatherapy products business in 1973 and is product consultant to the natural bodycare industry. She is also Director of the American Herb Association and received honorary memberships to the American Herbalists Guild, United Plant Savers, National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy, and the American Aromatherapy Association.
Kathi’s 15 books have been published in nine languages. They include The Illustrated Herb Encyclopedia and seven books on Aromatherapy, including the new The Aromatherapy Garden (Timber Press). She has written 150 articles for magazines such as Prevention and Herbal Remedies and served as consultant for National Geographic, Newsweek, and Woman's Day magazines.
Kathi co-hosts the aromatherapy show, “Everybody Nose,” on Dish Network TV (Veria Network) and her Garden Forum radio show airs on KVMR, Nevada City, CA (89.5 FM). She has taught at over 50 institutions, including University of San Francisco and University of California, Davis and currently teaches for San Francisco State University,
