PARKING
The San Mateo Event Center offers plenty of secure parking. There are two parking lots, East and West. The main entrance to the Show is located in the East parking lot. Parking rates are $12 per day for a car, $20 per day for a bus. (Yes! We can accommodate your over-size vehicle or tour bus. Staff will be available to help you park when you arrive.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS
There are several public transportation options. These include SamTrans, Caltrain, and Bart. Please see below for specific details.
To plan the best route from where you live in the Bay Area, including the time it will take to get there, use Transit.511.org, with 1346 Saratoga Drive San Mateo, CA 94403 as your destination address. You may also call Transit.511, by dialing 511 on your phone.
SHUTTLE
The Show operates a free shuttle service between the Hillsdale Caltrain Station and the San Mateo Event Center. This service runs approximately every 15 minutes. The shuttle will meet you on the EAST side of the train tracks and will drop you off at the West Entrance of the San Mateo Event Center. Look for signs.
CALTRAIN
The closest stop to the San Mateo Event Center is the Hillsdale Caltrain Station, located at 3333 El Camino Real, San Mateo 94403. The Show operates a free shuttle at the Hillsdale Train Station (see above). Check the Caltrain Timetable to plan your trip. Please go to the Caltrain Website for Fare and Ticket information.
BART
The Millbrae BART/Caltrain is the closest BART station. You may transfer there from BART to Caltrain which as a “cross-platform connection” (see above), or you have the option of taking one of two bus lines (391 or 390) that run every 15 minutes from the Millbrae station to El Camino Real and East 25th Ave. The SMEC is a two-block walk east down East 25th Ave., to where 25th ends at Delaware.

-391’s full route runs from Daly City to Redwood City and back, and on weekends only has service to downtown San Francisco. 390’s full route runs from Daly City to Palo Alto and back.

SamTrans lines 391 and 390 stop at El Camino Real and East 25th Ave. The SMEC is a two-block walk east down East 25th Ave., to where 25th ends at Delaware. SamTrans 391’s full route runs from Daly City to Redwood City and back, and on weekends only has service to downtown San Francisco. SAN MATEO TAXI
Call the friendly folks at San Mateo Cab (650.340.0126) and they'll send a taxi to pick you up at the San Mateo Event Center when you're ready to leave.
FLYING IN
SFO, the main San Francisco airport, is only 8 miles north of the San Mateo Event Center.
